Welcome to Lana’s Garden, where we honour the legacy of crafting small-batch, natural rhubarb preserves and condiments! Originally founded by Lana, affectionately known as the “Rhubarb Lady” of South-West Victoria, the brand was built on a passion for creating delicious, handmade products that celebrate the versatility of rhubarb.

Now, in the hands of a new family, we’re excited to continue Lana’s legacy while infusing fresh energy into every jar. With a focus on natural ingredients and a family-owned approach, our commitment remains unwavering: all our products are still crafted by hand, vegan, and gluten-free—now with the added flavours of family, love and innovation.

It's all about the rhubarb

It’s all about the rhubarb, everything we produce is based around rhubarb. Rhubarb is a great vegetable.  Very little bothers rhubarb, you water it, feed it, harvest it and cook it. Rhubarb has many health benefits, its stalks are a good source of fibre, benefiting your digestive health. It is considered as an anti-inflammatory food that contains antioxidants and vitamin K.  Rhubarb is also a good source of vitamin C (great for a healthy immune system), calcium, potassium and magnesium.

Each of our nine unique offerings, including Rhubarb and Raspberry Jam, Rhubarb Relish, Rhubarb Coulis, Rhubarb and Chilli Salsa, Savory Rhubarb Sauce, Rhubarb Vinegar, Rhubarb, Strawberry & Ginger Jam, Rhubarb & Tomato Chutney and our seasonal Rhubarb and Fig Jam, reflects our dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Our products are proudly handmade in Warrnambool in small batches from raw ingredients without the addition of any artificial colours, thickeners or preservatives.

The Family Behind Every Jar

My love for rhubarb began in childhood on my grandparents' farm, where I spent sun-soaked days in my grandfather's vibrant vegetable patch. The ruby stalks of rhubarb were always a highlight of our harvests, and together, we would pick them, knowing my grandmother would transform our bounty into delicious treats. These cherished memories of picking rhubarb and enjoying homemade desserts inspire my passion at Lana's Garden. We strive to honour that same spirit by crafting all-natural, small-batch rhubarb condiments and preserves, bringing the essence of those joyful moments from my family's kitchen to yours.

My favourite Lana’s Garden Product is our Rhubarb Vinegar – it’s such a unique creation that transforms an everyday salad into a mouth-watering delight!

I’m a passionate gardener, chef, and creator. My culinary journey began at the age of 16 when I completed my apprenticeship at Donovan's in Melbourne. From there, I co-owned and operated a successful restaurant with my wife, Davina, in Warrnambool, where we built a reputation for exceptional food and warm hospitality. My career then took me overseas, where I refined my craft working with some of the world's finest produce. Throughout this journey, my love for garden-to-table cooking has remained at the heart of my culinary philosophy. Back home, my vegetable garden and fruit trees are my pride and joy, providing the freshest ingredients that inspire every dish. I’m excited to celebrate the rich heritage of rhubarb and transform simple meals into extraordinary experiences, bringing a taste of our family kitchen to your table.

My favourite product from Lana’s Garden is our Rhubarb & Tomato Chutney, developed from my mother’s recipe, as it can be added to almost any dish for an added burst of flavour.
